This policy explains what data is collected when you visit caiacare.studio, who holds it, and your rights over it. We've kept it short because the site is deliberately simple.
Who we are
Caia Care Studio is the data controller for this website. For any question about your data, or to make any of the requests described below, email hello@caiacare.studio.
What this site does not do
caiacare.studio is a plain, static website. It does not:
- set any cookies;
- run analytics or any visitor tracking;
- load fonts, scripts, or content from third-party services (no Google Fonts, no CDNs, no embedded widgets);
- contain a contact form.
Because there are no cookies or trackers, there is no cookie banner and nothing to consent to on that front.
The data that is processed
There are two narrow cases:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Namecheap, keeps standard server logs when any website is visited. These can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. Under data protection law an IP address counts as personal data. These logs are generated and held by Namecheap as part of providing the hosting, and are retained on their standard schedule (typically a few weeks). We do not use them for tracking or marketing.
- Email you choose to send. The only way to contact us from this site is the email link. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it solely to reply and to take any resulting work forward, and we keep it only as long as needed for that. We do not add you to any marketing list.
Legal basis
Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and securing the website. Email correspondence is processed to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to take steps at your request.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law (UK GDPR / GDPR) you have the right to ask us to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- restrict or object to how we use it.
Email hello@caiacare.studio and we'll respond within one month. If you believe we've mishandled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission).
Changes
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change with it.
